Secret Creek Sanctuary- a native wildlife sanctuary in Lithgow NSW. Home to more than 200 native animals living in protected bushland habitat.

Two Brush-tailed Rock-Wallanbies

Secret Creek is home to Koalas, Brush-tailed Rock-wallabies, Long-nosed Potoroos, Rufous Bettongs, Parma wallabies, Red-necked Pademelons, Red-necked Wallabies, Swamp Wallabies, Emus, Tasmanian Devils, Eastern Quolls, Spotted-tailed Quolls, Alpine Dingoes and Mountain Pygmy Possums.

Our herbivores roam freely throughout the sanctuary, while our carnivores live in large, natural habitats to protect the other species. Visitors can wander among the free-roaming wallabies and experience how this region should look without feral predators.

Support Conservation

Secret Creek Sanctuary is supported by Australian Ecosystems Foundation Inc. (AEFI), a not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to protecting native wildlife and restoring natural ecosystems.

Every year, injured and orphaned native animals need urgent care. Please help AEFI to finish the onsite Wollemi Wildlife Hospital so they can help us protect endangered species like our own Eastern Quolls, The hospital will provide vital treatment for wildlife across the Blue Mountains and Central West region and beyond.
